Channeling your inner diva with these fun fusion saree ideas!

From basic crop tops to sexy body suits - your saree look is about to get glammed up

No matter what she wears, sarees bring out a different side of her. Ain’t that true? Sarees can really bring out that nazakat that every woman has. But what if you want to mix things up a little? Give a modern twist to your mom’s old saree? No worries, we got you covered!
Here are three fun saree ideas featuring your daily wear tops paired up with your mom’s saree. Hint: the key is to accessorise properly!

Everyday basic crop tops

Crop tops can be easily paired with sarees for a very simple yet elegant desi look. Since print on print is so much in trend these days, we went ahead with a beautiful printed crop top in pink and peach tone and paired it up with a floral printed saree. For accessories, we went ahead with Gulabo potli bag that goes well with the print of the saree. Now, it’s time for jewellery. We decided to pair this saree with our pink meenakari contemporary chandbali. That’s all, here’s a very basic ethnic look for a casual graduation party or a small family get-together.

Demi-formal Satin shirts

Satin demi formals are so versatile that they can be paired with anything. You can use them as a top for your skirts or with your lehengas but today, we’ll be pairing a mustard colour demi formal shirt with a plain black saree that has heavy zari work on the pallu. What you need to do is, wear the shirt and button up to your torso, take the remaining lower half and wrap an elastic around it. Either knot the lower half or just invert and tuck it on the inside. For accessories, we went in with our beige zari leaf lace belt which is an ethic belt for sarees. These belts are made from cloth with an easy tie drawstring closure that makes them easy and comfortable to wear. We also added our Isharya potli bag to bring the look together. For jewellery, we added the gold pearl jhumki dangler earrings to seal the deal and bring the whole look together.

Beach-y Bodysuits

We are all about experimenting! Who knew a neon shade bodysuit can be an ideal pair for your saree? We paired a neon pink bodysuit with a pista green shade saree. For accessories, we paired the saree with our Afreen potli bag and for jewellery, we added our pink and green kundan work handcrafted chandbali.

All these looks give you the freedom to have your own choice of hairstyle and makeup. You can either put your hair up in a bun or let it open or go for a half-bun too! Similarly, depending on the occasion, choose your make-up look.
